This is the perfect place! It was more than we expected. It has everything you could ever need and more. The styling and coziness of this cabin made the stay even better. Also, the cleanness was really good which we really appreciated. We had a great time and Jon responded really quick to any questions we had. We’ll definitely be back!!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this property and would definitely book it again. The place was spotless, the kitchen was stocked with all of the cooking tools we needed, and all of the amenities mentioned in the listing worked. Great find.

Such a stylish space. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything you could need and really organized. Ziploc bags provided are such a small but incredibly helpful touch. We only used the upstairs bedrooms but they were both really comfortable with great linens. Shampoo and conditioner provided smell amazing. This place literally has everything you could need, and more. The stairs are narrow and I have big feet, so I had to walk up sideways, but our 2 year old had no problem. Book this place, you won’t be disappointed

This was our second time staying here since we loved it so much the first time! It was just as wonderful and we highly recommend it to everyone looking for a stylish and comfy place. The beds are so comfortable and the living room/kitchen area perfectly fit our group of 8. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need (pots, pans, plates, cookie trays, keurig, toaster, and even zip-lock bags!). Everything is clean and sleek. The views are super pretty and the neighborhood is very quiet. Look no more and just BOOK!

We had a great stay. The cabin is so close to Lake Arrowhead Village. The scenery all around is just amazing. We loved the living room and the kitchen and we spent a lot of time there. Overall great experience and it was awesome to get away from the city for a while.

This is a great place to get away from it all. It was comfortable and clean, and after staying there, I felt refreshed. The parking is interesting; be prepared to back into a fairly steep driveway. :-) Check-in and check-out was easy and Jon was very responsive. He seems passionate about what he does and it shows in how he cares for the place. Would recommend this house.

The online photos are 100% accurate. What you see is what you'll get; we didn't want to leave, and in fact extended our stay while we were there. On that point, communicating with the owner was extremely easy. He processed the stay modifications for me, so I didn't even have to do anything. Perfect place and fantastic management.

Great location! We were surrounded by trees, with a beautiful deck overlooking the view. Great place to stay during a pandemic and still feel safe. We were able to use the dock access to take our daughter fishing. We enjoyed our stay and we will be looking for LVH rental properties in the future.

Jon was awesome and gave us clear and concise information. The house was clean and was perfect for us. We had an issue with my husbands knee going up and down the driveway, but that had nothing to do with the housing. Loved it.

There is just so much good to say about this property...It’s decor, location, appointments, cleanliness. Everything was top notch, we can’t say enough! We had an amazing time and the home owner was super accessible and so friendly!

Great cabin nestled in the tree tops surrounding Lake Arrowhead. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for our family stay. Convenient to the Lake Arrowhead village, with a great outdoor setting. Was nice to relax with a glass of wine next to the fireplace out on the deck. Very quiet and family friendly, perfect escape from the hustle and bustle (or being cooped up). Jon was a great host and made sure we had what we needed before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful updated and modern cabin about one minute or less to the village. Beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is amazingly well stocked with anything you need. Enjoyed the patio and fire pit. Location and scenery are amazing! Very convenient. Thank you!

Such a great place with such thoughtful details for guests! GREAT hosts! I brought my dogs and they left dog bowls and dog baggies out for me... Never have my dogs felt more welcome!

Beautiful quiet home nestled in amongst the pine trees. Nice size bedrooms with soft sheets and everything was super clean. All the amenities we needed and we truly enjoyed our stay there. We would book this home again.

Beautiful house! Very close to arrowhead village. There are a lot of stairs at this beautiful home so just be prepared to get your workout ! Jon was a great house and the decor was beautiful and it was equipped with everything you need to cook. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Really great place to relax in the mountain. Close to town, easy to walk on down. Bed's were incredibly comfortable and kitchen simple to cook lots of dishes in. A great escape!

The house was great! The parking was pretty tight for 2 cars on the driveway. Overall it was a great weekend getaway!

Jon’s place is beautiful. We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving in Arrowhead. The scenery with all the snow was absolutely breathtaking. Despite Mother Nature and the power outage we still made the best of it.

Had an absolutely fantastic weekend at this property. The cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect within in minutes from the lake and village. Easily walkable. Access to the dock was great and we really enjoyed kayaking and stand up paddle boards. This place has everything you need ! John was wonderful . He was accessible and answered all of our questions promptly. Would highly recommend this property to others and hope to return soon.

Stayed here for my husband’s 50th birthday with family and friends and it was perfect! Very well appointed, comfortable, gorgeous and convenient. Communication with management was on point and the amenities were exactly as stated. Overall, a very fun and successful weekend!

We had a great family vacation at the Lakeside Property. The location was perfect (a five minute walk to the Village near multiple restaurants and shopping options). The house was clean and had everything we needed. The personal touches (organic bath products) were so appreciated. The beds were extremely comfortable and deck with bbq and fire pit was a nice family hangout. We also spent lots of family time at the dock. The kayaks and SUP boards were fantastic and we used them to explore the beautiful lake. Our 11 year old golden retriever probably had the best time at the lake as she realized that she was able to swim. We couldn’t get her out of the water! Thank you for making our last family trip so very special before sending our twins off to college. Go Bruins!

The home and surrounding area was incredibly beautiful. Previous reviews are correct when they say that there are a lot of stairs, so not for those who have difficulty with this feature. We all enjoyed the home and it was very comfortable. The only issue we had was when we utilized the private dock as there were approximately 40 guests trying to enjoy it at the same time. We were well aware that the dock is shared by a total of 4 homes however. We did some kayaking but could not fish from the dock due to all of the people. The other quests were very nice and it was enjoyable - just a bit crowded. Would definitely recommend for the comfort, cleanliness, ample amenities and fully stocked with everything you would expect in your own home. Thank you!

Nicely decorated and clean house that is a short drive to the village and dock. Kitchen was very nicely stocked, and the beds are comfy. We appreciated Jon's prompt responses to our questions via text. The balcony is a nice spot to chill. And our boys enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle boards. Because it is a shared dock it did get crowded when families from the other two rentals were there simultaneously but all were courteous and it was a definite perk to have access to the use of the dock and equipment (chairs and life jackets included).

Our family of 5 had the absolute best visit to Lake Arrowhead at the Whispering Pines lodge. All amenities you would find a a luxury hotel with much more space and privacy. One word of caution, you will be carrying your luggage and groceries up 2 flights of stairs to the front door and up another flight of stairs to the kitchen/main level. Our family spent most of our time at the private dock on the lake and thoroughly enjoyed the paddle board and kayaks. It’s so easy, everything you need is right there waiting for you. Planning to make this an annual end of summer trip, already looking forward to next year.

The property was exactly as displayed in the pictures. Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Stocked with plenty of extra linens. Their fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook dinner every night. Very much enjoyed sitting on the deck every morning with my coffee. Taking in the beautiful scenery and silence before we got our day going. Loved the place so much that I asked my husband to buy a cabin there.

We loved everything about this property. Decorated beautifully! Three stories to allow for some privacy when needed. Very clean and well stocked with all amenities. Hulu and Netflix included was a plus. Lake acces was great! Will definitely return. Was sad to leave.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. We really got our exercise up and down the stairs :) . The driveway was a bit tight, but all the houses in the area seemed to have the same issue. The house was clean. The dock was great. Thank You!

This stylish and updated cabin in Lake Arrowhead is a gem! Close enough to walk to the village and access to the private trail was a great way to start the morning. We put the fishing rods and kayaks to good use paddling around the island. The dock was easy to get to and a great amenity. Had to get used to the driveway but it seems like all parking spaces are the same in that area. Beautiful cabin in a fun and relaxing village!

Beautiful space - very close to town. We loved staying here and will happily stay at another LVH Rental property next time we are in town. Close to a hotel in terms of design and amenities. Check in was extremely easy. Only note I would make about this particular rental was the number of stairs in and outside of house (which is somewhat expected in Arrowhead, but was still a lot when you factor in luggage), and the narrowness/steepness of the driveway. I drive a Subaru Outback and it was pretty treacherous pulling it out of the driveway each time.

This is the best airbnb i’ve ever stayed at! it’s so clean and comfortable. plenty of rooms and they have so many pots, pans, dish ware it’s so convenient. the whole vibe of the house is so cute and aesthetically pleasing. i absolutely loved it. and the host is amazing; goes above and beyond for sure.

Our time here was nothing short of magical. This adorable cabin in the midst of the pines and ceaders made us feel like we were worlds away. The minute we walked in the door we were in love the style, comfort and decore. We did not want to leave and will definitely be back. I recommend this home away from homes as a perfect get away.

Amazing place! Totally worth it. It was impeccable, beautiful and they had a Christmas tree and winter decorations, a perfect touch for a holiday vacation. Everything was perfect.

The place was really nice very clean and stylish. I love the personal touches. Cabin looks modern but cozy. They have their own soap and shampoo that is lavender and it smells really good! The kitchen has a good amount of counter space where you can cook for large guests. It has complete cookware. Bedrooms are clean has enough pillows and blankets. Overall we are all satisfied with our stay. Jon was really nice and pleasant to converse with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at whispering pine lodge. The house was perfect with comfy beds, a beautiful well-stocked kitchen and lovely furnishings throughout. All of the attention to detail, with fun games available for adults and kids, fishing poles, excellent guidebook, etc, made our stay truly amazing. We had to evacuate because of the Woolsey fire and the owner, Jon, was so kind and accommodating. He was very flexible and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We really can't thank him enough. I wish I could give this property 10 stars!! Highly, highly recommend - best place we've ever stayed by far.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love Whispering Pine Lodge. We took my boyfriend's parents for a last minute trip up to Lake Arrowhead. We've stayed numerous times and other properties and Whispering Pine is our new favorite. Everything from the well stocked kitchen and beautiful decor to the comfortable beds and brand new linens...all 5-star. My boyfriend loves electronics and was impressed with the IPAD and Amazon Echo that the owners have added for guests. Such a nice touch! We especially loved the location of the home. It was an easy walk down to the lake! We love to hike and the trail around the lake was so close. We are looking forward to staying again at Whispering Pine Lodge.

It was one of the most flawless booking and online transaction. Jon was very prompt in responding on every queries. We stayed for 4 days... there were plenty amounts towels and toiletries, clean spacious rooms with tons of pillows and extra blankets, well equipped kitchen which we all loved because we cooked all the time.. so many other things to say! It’s so complete that you just bring yourself, family and friends and just enjoy the house, neighborhood and lake arrowhead. Will definitely go back and book this place.

With three generations congregating under one roof, we could not have had a more memorable vacation anywhere else! We were surprised to discover such luxurious amenities in a "cabin"...designer furnishings and finishes, with a floor plan that offered privacy for each party! Whispering Pines, in its beautiful forest setting, met our needs so perfectly. We enjoyed making s'mores on the deck, playing endless board games, and hiking down to the village and dock. Truly, the management has thought of every possible detail and was so enthusiastically responsive in our communications. Thanks immensely...We are already planning our next trip!!!

This home is well appointed and stylish. Highly recommend! We stayed for 5 nights with our two little kids and we all had a wonderful time. The kitchen has the basics and beyond. WiFi works well. Alexa + nice flat screen Smart TVs. There are two bedrooms on the third floor and two on the first floor, so it’s a perfect setup for groups or large families that want a little privacy. Patio is surrounded by trees and is a lovely spot to sit. It’s nearby the village, the beach and (Hidden by Airbnb) ark, so you won’t have to drive far for local attractions.

This place was perfect for both our families to stay at. The location was perfect, amenities amazing, wifi was fast, and communication quick. Jon was very accommodating and responded to our every need. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Super cool, chic modern cabin style. Pictures don’t do this place justice! Has all the great WiFi, Amazon echo, Netflix, Coffee and toiletry amenities. Love the passes to the private Burnt Mill Beach which is within walking distance. Awesome that they provide towels & chairs. Love they provided lake access passes and fishing gear. Only 3 minutes to the Arrowhead Lake Village shopping and restaurants. Great for the family, except the three levels of stairs were somewhat treacherous for the grandparents (likely the case at any hillside cabins). Beautiful surroundings and area. Great for a mini retreat!

Thank you John for being such a kind and friendly host, who was quick to reply when we had questions. This home is so beautifully decorated we could tell how much passion/time went into every detail. The home also has a perfectly stocked kitchen for us to cook breakfast daily during our stay. Comfortable beds and linens. Interestingly we have the same mcm lounge chair in our living room too, so we felt right at home. We were impressed and grateful for all the extra amenities such as beach chairs, beach towels, fishing rods/tackle box (although we ran out of time to fish). We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood to take in the fresh mountain air plus the short drive to the village/lake for a fun pizza night with the grand kids (the pizza was great too) when we were too tired to bbq. Thank you again John and family for allowing us to stay at your pleasant and beautiful home.

This home is beautiful. Tucked away in the trees but very close to the lake and shopping/restaurants. I loved the spacious deck. The interior of the home is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

By far the most accommodating, beautiful place I have ever stayed. Not only was the house immaculate but the house also had absolutely anything you could need. From kitchen utensils to board games, every detail was well thought out. I stayed here for my wedding weekend and was able to feel so relaxed. The house was quiet and cozy. I had such an amazing time! Myself and all of my bridesmaids will definitely be back to stay at any of the Lake Arrowhead properties!! Highly recommend! Also, Jon the owner was helpful and incredibly kind! He makes sure that time spent in any of his properties is a good experience.

Our stay at Jon's home was excellent. The house is so tastefully decorated and kept in pristine condition. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils. The bathrooms were clean and well appointed. Lots of board games for kids to play with. The location is amazing, felt like we were in the middle of a rainforest with greenery surrounding us. The house is 5 mins from the lake which is gorgeous. We were there for the memorial day weekend with family friends. The house is cute and cosy and can easily sleep 10 guests. We will definitely be visiting again.
