A lovely private view of trees from large two-story windows. We enjoyed filtered sunlight in the morning and watching the full moon at night. The living area is comfortable and beautifully decorated. Bathrooms and bedrooms nicely appointed with upscale linens and pillows. The kitchen also updated with modern appliances and island for preparing and serving meals.

This was our first time staying at the Treetop Cabin. The property was exactly as described and true to all the photos online. Super clean and had everything you needed for your stay. Nice quiet neighborhood and walking distance to the village. Thank you for the great stay. Jon from LVH rentals was awesome as well. We'll be back!

My family and I enjoyed two wonderful nights at this beautifully furnished and extremely well appointed cabin. Wished we could have stayed longer but will definitely go back in the near future. The owner was so nice, extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We couldn't have been more comfortable. I highly recommend this lovely place.

We make an annual weekend trip to Arrowhead each winter and this is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed. What a beautiful home! I can't say enough great things about it - clean, nicely furnished, well-stocked kitchen, wonderful natural lighting from the huge living room windows. Very prompt and friendly responses from the owner. Thank you Kim for sharing your wonderful home with us. We can't wait to go back!

My family and our guests had a wonderful time in this beautiful treetop cabin. The cabin is wonderfully adorned (just like the images shown), very clean, well taken care-of, and has a very warm feeling to it. The owner Kim, also Jon who seems to manage the cabin, were very pleasant to deal with and helpful. Lake arrowhead is just minutes away with plenty of places to eat, shop, buy groceries, etc. During our four day stay we only left the cabin a few times to play in the snow outside, once to ski near by (about 40 minute drive due to an accident on the road), and once to have breakfast at a Belgian Waffle restaurant on the lake; otherwise we just wanted to kick back, play games, watch movies and chat while sipping on wine. We hope to return soon to this same cabin very soon. Oh and YES! I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THIS PROPERTY TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

Kim was great to speak to and so smooth to book. And she accommodated me on early check in, no extra charge. I had my twin daughters it was safe we just put a gate up. It was so clean and had such a homie feel. We had snow last day, we had so much fun we never really left. Very close to Santas village and town. Thank you Kim can't wait to stay at your other homes. Kim was very detailed, organized, and thoughtful in designing her Treetop Cabin. The place was beautiful. There were a lot of amenities inside the cabin. In addition she provide a lot of information on the surrounding area to make it easier to plan your daily activities. I would highly recommend.

The cabin was beautiful and everything was as described. The amenities were above and beyond. Everything you could think of needing was provided. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and servingware. There was a fresh bar of soap in each shower. There was a ipad available for our use, Apple TV, an X Box, board games, and a binder full of local recommendations. Kim was prompt and responsive in all of her communication. It was a quick and easy walk into the village. We felt very welcome and "right at home" during our stay

This place had all of the details correct - the cleanliness, the design, it was both modern and cozy. Perfect weekend getaway spot for a group of 6 - 8. Would definitely recommend.

Cabin was close to Village and dock. Nice setting. Cabin looked like the pictures. Very clean. It rained our first day so we stayed in. Was nice and relaxing. Other days used the kayaks and enjoyed the Lake. Everything was easy to get to and use. Kitchen was well stocked. If you just want a plain cup of coffee, you might want to bring your own coffee pot. Master bedroom was beautiful and very comfortable. Just lacking a place to put on makeup. A simple table and chair would have been nice. Over all give this home a 9 out of 10. Will rent it again. One of the best rentals we have rented. Thank you

We were extremely pleased with this beautiful home. Everything was updated and beautifully decorated and we felt very comfortable. It was more room than we needed as there were only two of us and it has 3 beautiful rooms but it was money well spent to feel relaxed and the location could not have been better. We were extremely grateful that we were able to bring our dogs as well. The owner could not have been nicer and was very helpful if we had any questions. I highly recommend staying here!!

We had a fabulously fantastic time at your cabin. The furnishings were so comfy and cozy. Our boys enjoyed the waters toys and the fishing polls... kept them very fun busy. This property is a true gem in the mountains! Everything was just perfect, from the beautiful furnishings, to the comfortable beds, to the well-organized kitchen. We also really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor patio and BBQ! We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute of our time there. The kids could watch t.v or play x-box while the adults relaxed in the living room or outside. Kim is a wonderful owner to work with. All instructions were simple and well though out. I would love to visit again sometime

Our family enjoyed a wonderful summer vacation at Treetop Cabin. The property was gorgeous and immaculately clean, it looked exactly like the photos online. This house was on par with any 5 star luxury resort. Every detail was carefully thought through. We felt right at home and the house and boat dock/water toys offered every conceivable comfort imaginable. The level of quality in this home from the pillows to the furnishings were all luxurious. We would highly recommend Treetop Cabin to anyone and hope to come back again someday soon ourselves.

We had a wonderful time at the Treetop Cabin! It was cozy and very well appointed. Loved the rustic furnishings and high quality linens. Very well stocked kitchen too. Our fave part was the dock! The kids had so much fun out there! Spent the entire day and didn't want to leave! Kim and her husband were graciously accommodating and helpful! We will be back!

This is the best vbro owner. This place is amazing. The home is inviting and cozy. We relaxed and just enjoyed staying at this great cabin in a perfect arrowhead area close to the village and the lake. We enjoyed cooking in the wonderful kitchen and lighting the candles as we ate around the beautiful dining table. We grilled on the deck and watched the blue jays eat peanuts and flit around the majestic trees. This place is so wonderful. The deck access at the lake is great as well. We used all the amenities stocked there. Paddleboards, kayaks, pool noodles, deck chairs....it was great. Kim answered all my questions very quickly. She is very dedicated to her guests. I look forward to coming again and again. Thank you Kim.

From the TV options and iPad to all the kitchen gadgets and accessories; and even to the bathroom soap and shampoo...your cabin was fully stocked with everything. We would have loved to stay longer!! We loved the private beach access and your dock was fabulous!! Having the umbrellas and table/chairs for dining out on the dock was such a nice surprise. We didn't use the paddle boards but maybe next time when the water warms up! The location of the cabin was ideal for us- we took a short walk to the village and enjoyed hanging out on the patio amongst the super tall trees. We loved our trip to Lake Arrowhead. Our family of 3 shared the house with another family of 4, and it worked great. Highly recommended!

This house is seriously beautiful and comfortable. From the decorations, to the variety of books to read, to the well equipped kitchen, to the wonderfully enveloping beds it is well thought out and a perfect place for a vacation. The only fly in the ointment is the difficulty you will have in navigating the switchback streets to reach the house. Be sure you use GPS, and even then, it's no fun. But the payoff is worth it.

Great property. Kim provides everything one would need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was clean and well maintained. The only thing that surpassed the property was Kim. She was available and great to deal with. I'll be a repeat customer.

We had a wonderful stay, I wish we had been able to stay longer so we had more time to explore the area! The house is beautiful and very comfortable, it was perfect for our family of 4. Very spacious and clean, the bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with everything we needed. The beds were amazing, we all slept very well. We checked out a couple of the recommended restaurants in the area and were very happy with them.

We just returned from a 4-day stay at Treetop and we didn't want to leave! Everything in this cabin is perfectly appointed and immaculate. We are sticklers for cleanliness and Treetop is exceptional. The beds were extremely comfortable and there is no shortage of comfortable bedding and pillows. The bathrooms are luxurious and spotless. Everywhere you looked there were more sumptuous towels. We had the heat going at night and one thing I noticed was how nicely and evenly the house heated up. It never felt too hot. We were always perfectly comfortable, never cold, never roasting. Honestly, it never even felt like the heater was on, just working silently and invisibly in the background. Perfection! We made dinner and grilled out a few nights and never did I think I needed something. The cabin is fully stocked. Pots, pans, baking sheet, colander, sharp knives, measuring cups, cheese grater. Everything you need to cook a great meal is at your fingertips. The deck is surrounding by the most beautiful trees. It was a bit chilly so we didn't sit outside as much as I would have liked but certainly next time! We were two adults with two young boys traveling. The set-up was perfect. There are two bedrooms downstairs so each boy had their own room. What I liked is that the rooms each had a TV and they are right next to each other so the boys had their privacy and downtime but there were still very close to each other. Best of both worlds. The master upstairs is huge with a comfortable seating area. Heads up that the Xbox is upstairs in the Master so we frequently had little guests in our room. :) We love staying at Kim and Jeff's properties because it truly is like you are home, only better! The check-in process is seamless, the access to the shared dock is priceless, and the amenities leave you wanting nothing. The communication is also prompt, kind, and professional. We will be back soon for sure.

We had wonderful time in this beautiful well appointed cabin. I appreciated the decor and comfort of this home. We were all so well rested, thanks to the high quality beds, and bedding. The view from the living room balcony was quite beautiful! We will definitely return to this Treetop Gem!! Kim, was on point with communication and information. After scouring VRBO and AirBnB and countless hotels to stay at for my husband's birthday weekend with friends, I was relieved to find Shady Cabin! The price is more than reasonable and the location is extremely convenient. What also convinced me were the positive reviews others had left. We found all of the amazingness to be true. As soon as we arrived, it felt like home. The decor and all of the thoughtful furnishings were splendid! The place felt very luxurious. What I also loved was that it was INCREDIBLY clean. The place was so well stocked with everything from Q-Tips to spices for cooking to the comfortable beds and furnishings to Netflix...this was one of the best places I've stayed at! Not only was the place gorgeous, Kim (our contact) was amazing. She was so kind, thoughtful and super helpful whenever we had any questions. She is a wealth of information! We hope to come back one day soon as our stay was one of rest and rejuvenation. I wish we could have stayed much longer than we did! We highly recommend Shady Cabin!

My brother and parents stayed at Kim's cabin for a long weekend to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday. Kim was fantastic about reaching out ahead of time and providing me with all the information about the cabin and Lake Arrowhead that you could ever want (the same information which was provided in a binder in the cabin for convenience). The home was well stocked (linens, towels, cookware, spices, you name it), well decorated, comfortable and had great views. The weather during our stay was a bit rainy but we didn't mind staying in and cooking and watching movies. Furthermore, the location is very convenient as it's a stones throw from Lake Arrowhead Village. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I rented this with another couple and everyone was very happy. The furnishings are beautiful, the kitchen is gourmet, the bed linens and towels are all first class. It was super easy to access, great hikes and easy location. You can't miss with this property.

This house was amazing, and the pictures almost does not do it justice. We did not get any snow but being able to be in this cabin was worth the weekend. The house was all decked out for Christmas which was a wonderful surprise. Kim was super easy to work with, the house is in amazing shape, clean and well stocked. This is by far my best Airbnb experience I have had.

This property is absolutely beautiful, the cabin has everything you possibly need for your stay. the bedrooms are beautiful, and the beds are so comfortable. everything is always so nice and clean throughout the cabin, very nice living and dining areas - there was a fully decorated Christmas Tree!! we hated to leave. it is so nice and peaceful - we take our dog and yes it is very good exercise for us both!! loved it

Kim's 'property description' is everything you can expect with this cabin, as well as the reviews posted are very helpful and truthful. Just two items worth mentioning that would be important to those whom have been approved to bring your dog/s. The cabin, as most all properties at Lake Arrowhead, is located on a very steep lot that you cannot access nor let your dog out to run free. And the street itself is also very steep so if your looking to take your dogs on a walk you will need to walk up steep streets to get to Terrace for a flat walk. The other is that the back of this cabin, where the balcony is located, faces a very busy road and although it was relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the nature, you do have to put up with the street noise which was a bummer for me.

First clue that this family vacation was going to go smoothly was the effective communication by the owners. No question or concern was answered without hesitation. Check in and access to amenities was easy. Both bathroom were stocked with the essentials, even the forgotten, on my part, blow dryer. Bedding was clean and bathrooms were well stocked with towels and TP. (I usually find that we need to purchase paper supplies.) Our five year old loved leaving peanuts, provided by the owners, for the wildlife to consume. He saw his first Blue Jay :) Our teenager enjoyed the beach access with paddle boards and kayaks with her friends who were also staying in Lake Arrowhead. My husband and I enjoyed the well equipped kitchen along with the substantial stemware. We had the pleasure of having Executive Chef Kurt P. Metzger of Kitchen 4140 (San Diego, CA) cook in this kitchen. He found it quite accommodating; "This kitchen has what I need to make a fabulous dinner." So, for those of you who like to cook, this is the house to rent. During our stay we had the need to contact the owners, one time, to ask about the kayaks. The call was returned within minutes. Every year we rent a home, from this website, for our family getaway and this has been our best experience ever. The thoughtfulness and arrangement of the furnishing, both exterior and interior, (especially having the blower), and the design and finish of the house itself was such an enjoyable experience.

This house is amazing! Seriously. You won't be disappointed. Just as described. High-end remodel with high-end materials. Super comfortable beds. Great kitchen we used every night; fully stocked. Dock and beach access were key for us. We kayaked for hours w/ the kids. Super quiet little street and neighborhood but literally 2 min drive to village/lake. Kim was awesome! Super responsive and extremely professional. Had a couple little issues upon arrival that were taken care of immediately. Overall, perfect Arrowhead getaway. Will definitely be back.

This house was amazing.! Everything was perfect! We followed the owners restaurant advice and went to the sports grille for the best burgers. We hung out at the dock all day and night and our kids had the best time. We will definately tent this house or one of the others. We also loved the bluejays on the balcony. It was such a wonderful time.

This place was super nice and felt very homey. We were two families with 3 kids and a couple of furry friends. The furnishings were lovey and the kitchen was stocked with just about anything we needed. The balcony was comfy and made you feel like you were in a treehouse. We were there at the end of July and the weather was pretty warm. The master is in the loft so it was a little warm at night. There is a sliding glass door that leads to a balcony in the loft and they have a floor fan to help pull in the cooler night air. Be cognizant that this place shares the dock and water toys with other renters. Although there are 3 kayaks and 2 paddleboards, the first group of 8 renters were there before us and had all of the equipment over at the island. Luckily someone came back and was willing to share 1 kayak and 1 paddleboard with our families so it turned out ok. Even though this place was kind enough to allow our pets to stay, there really isn't a good place to let them out. The homes are built on slopes so finding a flat space other than along side the road was a little difficult. We finally found a spot up the hill and around the corner that was flat and in the trees. Also, I wouldn't say this place is walking distance to the dock. Especially if you're taking, kids, dogs, coolers, towels and fishing gear. Best to load it all in the car and drive 2 minutes away. All in all, had a very nice stay. Kim was very responsive to any questions we had.

This is a tastefully decorated home with comfortable beds. The size was perfect for up to 8 people. We sat out on the deck and watched different birds come by for peanuts and seed. Close enough to town for restaurants, yet set back from street enough that you're not looking right into a neighbors house. I would definitely stay here again.

This Home is the top of the line. Beautiful furnishings and comfortable beds. Kim has the house stocked with so many essentials..coffee, shampoos,beach chairs and towels and so much more. The home is so clean and comfortable for a family or couple vacation, you won't be sorry if you stay here. We had six adults and two toddlers, and loved our stay. The dock, beach and village are walking distance. We will be back, for sure!

Beautiful home, beautiful neighborhood! Great hills for hiking with lots of nooks and crannies, and easily walkable to the lakeside dock. Everything is taken care of -- there are menus, directions to everything and everyplace in town, wi-fi, coffee, nuts for the squirrels and seed for the birds -- truly a wonderful stay for our group of friends. A wonderful Fourth of July celebration -- thank you!

Writing this review is easy - our weekend get-away to Kim's cabin was heaven...In every way. From the location to the gorgeous home with cabin-classy furnishings, super high thread count on pillow top beds & down comforters, luxurious towels to even having the convenience of an ipad & wifi available for our convenience. She thought of everything. Fully stocked everything and no attention to detail was left untouched. If you have an opportunity to choose this location over another -STOP your search & stay here. You will not be disappointed.

It was our first time booking a home through VRBO and we couldn't have been more pleased. Prior to our trip, the owner was very responsive and answered our numerous questions promptly and professionally. The cabin was a home away from home - beautiful bathrooms with plush towels, a modern kitchen with cookware galore (we ate in the entire stay) and a lovely deck with fire pit and ample seating. We were able to park both of our cars in the driveway - a huge plus since many homes did not have that option. The lake is about 15 minutes away on foot. Our family consisted of a grandfather, a preschooler and an Alaskan Malamute - fun for all ages!

We stayed in this property last weekend for two nights, and this cabin was just perfect. It was very nicely decorated, all the appliances were top notch, stainless steel and in excellent working condition. The cabin was well equipped, it had nice flat screen TVs in the leaving room and every bedroom, two Apple TVs, a Netflix subscription, an Xbox for the kids, even an iPad. The kids did not even want to leave the cabin. Everything was spotless clean, nice bedding, tons of kitchen and bathroom supplies. The owners have thought about everything to make your stay enjoyable. The location is very nice, close to the village and the lake. The owner was very thoughtful and she gave all the pertaining information in advance and thought of every detail to help us have a relaxed stay. We will definitely consider renting this cabin again should we go back to Lake Arrowhead in the future.

We stayed here in November for a long weekend and didn't want to leave! The Cabin was gorgeously decorated with all the essentials to make it a perfect stay! I loved waking up and turning on the fire while I drank coffee and looking out the large windows at the beautiful trees and birds. The location is perfect, very close to the village. We also enjoyed going down to the dock and watching the sunset with some wine and cheese. It was chilly but so worth it. I will definitely be renting this house again, hopefully sooner than later! :-)

We stayed in this beautifully decorated, well equipped home in November and i happened back to this site and thought I needed to write a review, because everyone who is interested must know this is a sweet stay. Besides how beautifully decorated this rental is, the area is so nice. We walked around the lake, and saw the most beautiful views and homes, this is a must. This rental also comes with a dock, although the weather was cool at that time, we took some wine. cheese etc...and sat looking at the water as the sun set.....another must. You cannot go wrong, you will enjoy this home and all it has to offer and will want to return for sure! The owners are easy and most helpful.

My experience in this cabin was amazing. The house was fully stocked. I had the best birthday party ever.

When I opened the door and entered, I almost fainted at how amazing this cabin was in person. The pictures don't do it any justice. It's modern, yet still very cozy with all of the amenities you could dream of in a vacation rental. It was absolutely first class. The place was spotless and felt very inviting, so right away we made ourselves at home. My family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights over a long weekend and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly thanks to the cabin and it's location which is close to everything. It was just a short drive to the village and very close to the lake as well. All of the great restaurants and sandwich shops were also a short drive, so we got to do a lot of exploring without spending a ton of time in the car. Everyone got an amazing sleep in the cloud like beds that were in each room. Even my 2 year old son felt comfortable enough to sleep in the room right across the hall from us in his crib that we brought. Now that says something! :) Overall, this exceeded all of my expectations and is by far the nicest, coziest retreat I have ever stayed at in Lake Arrowhead. The bar was set so high that there is no way we will ever be able to stay anywhere else. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend!

I spent three days here with my family right before Christmas and it was truly beautiful. The house had enough room for everyone but was still really cozy. The décor and appliances were all significantly better than what I have come across in most other rentals. Owner spared no expense and the cost of this rental was worth every penny. Will definitely stay again.

My husband and I spent 5 days at this wonderful Lake Arrowhead retreat, and it exceeded our expectations. This cabin was very clean with modern and upgraded features; it also had a cute patio/deck with outside grill and fire pit feature! When we weren't hiking, kayaking or taking the SUP out at the lake, we were relaxing comfortably inside cooking & watching movies. Kim was very responsive with any questions we had - we would definitely rent this place again if it's available!

We had a great time at this very clean, cozy but roomy, well-equipped home. The house is within walking distance from the village and lake, has beautiful wood floors and comfortable furniture, and plenty of amenities if you're inclined to watch TV, enjoy the fireplace, etc. The owner was very communicative and extremely helpful. Everything was perfect, there were no negatives and we would definitely stay at this property again.

First things first- the images posted do not do this place justice at all. This is in model home condition! Great location. Easy access from main road with parking for 3 cars. Exterior has very nice curb appeal. Interior, however, was perfection. Seriously. Walking through the front door you are met with a spectacular great room- vaulted ceiling, massive iron chandelier, large fire place, exceptional furnishing/ decorator items and a really nice TV. Knew within 2 seconds that the females were going to be ecstatic. Overlooks a deck with forest view, which the kids loved as there is a massive tree running through it. Kitchen is first class. Beautiful cabinets/ counter tops. Stainless everywhere and packed with every cooking gadget known to man. Note- I am only reporting what we saw as we ate a lot. 2 nice sized bedrooms on ground floor and a large master on the upper. Great layout as the kids were downstairs and we were up. All were very well decorated. High quality bedding, flat and walk in closets, lots of drawers, with TV's in all. The master has a sitting area with small patio. Place has a washer and dryer with tons of supplies. Long story short, the owner has thought of every amenity and accessory. Lake/ village within walking distance along a spectacular forest path. Winding this down, we always wanted a second home in Arrowhead but only go up 2-4 times a year. Where there for the 4th of July and it could not have been better. Family friendly with lots to do- dining, shopping and mountain related activities. Everyone had fun. Owner has a rental in the La Quinta and have already booked

Our family had a very nice, relaxing vacation in Kim’s Treetop Cabin. The house was beautiful! I can’t call it a cottage or a cabin because it really was a very nice vacation home. The home and kitchen were amazingly well stocked; the décor and appliances were all up to date and very attractive. Lots of birds and squirrels visited the feeders off the back deck each day and we enjoyed seeing a raccoon take a nap in a tree about 10 feet from the back patio. It was very nice, very comfortable, and we loved that we could grill on the back deck! We had a great time roasting marshmallows over the firepit, too! Kim was very helpful, providing us with very useful tips about Lake Arrowhead. We were a little concerned about a forecasted heat wave during our visit, but we found the cabin was always cool and comfortable. Having fishing equipment, beach towels and chairs, etc. available was terrific and made packing that much simpler. The beach and trails were within a short walk from the cabin and everything else was a very easy and short drive. This was our most relaxing vacation ever!
