Do you have any recommendations for restaurants?
La Quinta Restaurants (Old Town)
~ Old Town Coffee Company. Great coffee, pastries, scones, breakfast burritos. And the little gift shop that is attached to the coffee shop. Great books/gifts/cards.
~ Sunday Farmers Market in Old Town La Quinta. Fruits/veggies
~ The Grill. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Good menu, patio dining
~ Wine Bar Bistro. Good food/ambiance/live entertainment most evenings.
Other
~ Morgan's at the Desert. Located at La Quinta Resort. Lovely restaurant with great steaks/fish/lamb. Great martinis, live piano Thurs - Sat. Reservations required or just go sit in the bar.
~ Bucatini Trattoria. Great Italian, good pizzas, salads. We love this place and they have a nice little patio outside. Not overly expensive.
~ Eureka!. New casual restaurant with burgers/salads/great Kraft beer menu.
~ Lavender. Beautiful restaurant, great menu. They sometimes will have live entertainment on patio. Reservations required. Ask to sit outside (if it's not too warm).
El Paseo Restaurants
~ Maestro's. Great steak/seafood. Must try the Butter Cake for dessert.
~ Wolfgang Pucks. Fun new restaurant with great pizzas, salads, pastas - Love this place!! Good margaritas! Kale salad is delicious.
~ Guillermo's Mexican restaurant - Good Mexican food - outdoor seating. Great margaritas!
~ Il Corso. New Italian restaurant.
~ Tommy Bahamas. Fish/steaks – beautiful upstairs outdoor dining area
~ Sullivan’s. Great steaks, fun bar, outstanding service.

La Quinta is chocked full of great stores, boutique and name brand. In addition, El Paseo (20 minutes away) has incredible shopping. Lots of stores, restaurants &galleries;
